Today is awesome because
I love Behavioral Ecology. Cuckoo birds drop their eggs into the nests of other birds, and the other birds raise this GIANT BABY as their own. AND crazy ants that do this thing where the female raids the nest of another species of ants, kills the queen, rolls around in the queens corpse to smell like her, then has her babies, but her babies don’t wanna work, so instead they march off and steel another nest’s larvae so that they can bring them back and raise them to be their slaves. WAT.
I went to play with my favorite children in the whole world. We did water colors and I helped Elijah put together his valentines for preschool tomorrow :)
And then I stuck around to eat some cheese and taste some wine and hang out with a bunch of people who are all older than me and married and frankly I like that kind of company.
